I have been working at Logitech full-time (More than 8 years)

Pros

- good products
- willing to spend on system, softwares

Cons

- no vision, no leadership from upper management
- no accountability
- focus on scholars hiring instead of real life experience
- performance is not based on merits

Advice to Management

- check out the management's accomplishment - are they really worth retaining? Did you ever question why the recent restructuring wiping out entire departments after all, Logitech spent so much to implement?
- Hold your management responsible for wasting money on retrenchment (they hired, terminated, then hired another bunch back), and on failed projects (this could be system projects as well)
- stop hiring & Promoting relatives and friends that have absolutely no merits to the jobs

I worked at Logitech full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Overbloated salaries to senior managers and low ranking managers alike!

    Cons

Small minded senior execs, unable to see the big picture, too uneducated to understand basic market principals at the MBA level. Execs steal other employees ideas to label as own, and this is integrated into a unhealthy 'company culture'.

    Advice to Management

Start with mission, vision, goals. Define and reward leadership skills and stop rewarding cowardice and thieves in a frat boy environment. The basic principals of business ought to include putting customers, shareholders, employees first...or is that only for leading edge silicon valley innovative companies to abide by and honor?

    Cons

    Lack on innovation internally
Have become the market followers instead of the market leaders
    Too many sub par products
    Executive management fails slowly

    Advice to Management

Get it together, get some cajones and make change.
    Be innovative, creative
