I have been working at Los Angeles USD full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great place to obtain work experience.

    Cons

Administration is out of touch with the needs of the class room, too many budget cuts.

    Advice to Management

Provide personal growth and training to staff to obtain job placement and stop state testing, which is time lost for teacher and students. Time can be used preparing students for success.

I have been working at Los Angeles USD full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great place to work. Friendly people. Great hours, because school hours are typically earlier in the work day, so it's good for avoiding traffic.

    Cons

Occasionally politics may get in the way. If you reach the top of the salary scale in your classification, that's it. No bonuses or annual evals for raises.
