    Pros

It was a weekly pay check

    Cons

Training is a joke. If you do the computer based training from home with your managers approval you will not be paid for it even though you are hourly. Some managers falsify numbers and when you bring it to the district managers attention they ignore it. If you contact upper management on the weekend because your manager wont answer calls get ready to get your butt chewed. I was only in the c-sites. They were run terrible I feel for those in the truck stops. The equipment is outdated and the cash control is a joke. Everyone is allowed in everyones tills and safes. What a joke of a company.

    Advice to Management

Surprise your managers when showing up at there sites instead of calling ahead. Actually check there control counts yourself. I know that means picking up a calculator. Actually run your district instead of trying to hide everything from Mike Herman and Kevin Asbery.

    Pros

Love's pays pretty well compared to other companies in the OKC area. It's a privately held company which is both a good AND bad thing. There seems to be less corporate red tape, but if you are new, be wary of trying to get things done quickly to perform well at your job. Others take it as a threat and will collaborate behind your back to get you fired.

    Cons

Love's could have been a decent company to work for, but if you are "the new guy (or gal)," don't expect to be able to get your job done. First impressions indicate that everyone is hard at work and things move fast. Unfortunately, there are certain groups of employees that like to waste time which can hold up the SDLC process. There is no reason it should take a week to have the server team make a new Active Directory group.

    Advice to Management

Let people know why business decisions are made. Don't make structure changes to an organization without involving those that will be affected.
