I was expected to spend 30 minutes a week with each specialist to go over their performance.
ASM-Sales was a position that was removed long ago. This position was brought back after the Specialists went to hourly rather than commission... to increase moral and change the sales style on the floor to improve customer experience and to increase revenue. The big CON here is that the ASM Sales at the time were being held to metrics that had nothing to do with the goal of the position.
Salary exempt: during/after hurricane Harvey I was working 70+ hours a week. As Salary exempt, all Salary employees did not receive any incentive to continue coming to work besides a top off on the gas tank. While hourly employees that worked at least 26hrs a week received bonuses that put their pay rate higher than my own... so I felt a little under appreciated almost double the work for no extra pay, while an hourly employee that works 1/3 of the time that I did each week, makes more money than myself...
