Pros

Lowes does offer good benefits. There are a number of options for insurance and stock purchasing and tuition reimbursement. They seem to be trying to improve the resources given to employees like the technology they use. They seem to be trying to improve the company culture. There are bonuses that can be made for certain employees.

Cons

Most employees that are eligible for a bonus make a lower salary than the normal given salary of competitors. If bonus is not made the employees make less than they would at the competitors and if the bonus is made they are only making as much as competitors. The employees who don't qualify for a bonus are not paid well. With recent increases in minimum wage there are employees who are starting making more money than other employees who have been there many years. The employees working there for many years have not been given raises to keep up with inflation or the recent raises in expected minimum wage. They say they will train you but they won't.
