I worked at Lowe's full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

Employee interaction, customer relations, sharing your experience with other employees

Cons

Management inconsistency, not being held accountable. HR Mgr. will ignore experience and length of time with company to give the people she likes jobs. Employees have said the HR Mgr. posted jobs and prematurely promised jobs to people she likes or YES people

Advice to Management

Treat all employees equally. HR and other managers need to be rotated or be reviewed by employees to make them aware that they will be held accountable

    I worked at Lowe's part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Very Flexible schedule that worked well with my school. Easy work that is rarely stressful or to much to handle.

    Cons

    Strange hours, opened at 6:00am and the store closed at 10pm. No one comes in the store past 8pm so it can be very boring.
