-Job advancement from within
-Better compensation than most retail workplaces
-Great coworker support
-Good safety rules in place for employees

-Demanding Work Schedule (open, close)
-Old system genesis
-no more bonuses as of 2012

    I have been working at Lowe's full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Hard to get fired, little commitment by anyone in store management. They are all burned out working for bonuses they don't get. I made more as a dept mgr than several ASMs. I have no drive to advance and work more hours for less money.

    Cons

    always changing, never teaching you to get better. No drive to improve. Allow employees to run over or manipulate how things get done. Store managers make threats but do nothing.
