I have been working at Lowe's full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

Good pay, good hours, good management. For the most part, I enjoy the people I work with. The job is very enjoyable, and the hours are probably the best for retail. I worked for Home Depot for 5 years before Lowe's, and the work environment at Lowe's is HEAD and SHOULDERS above HD.

Cons

Rotating Shift, Days off differ from week to week. Management will depend on location, if you have a really good store manager, you'll enjoy your employment experience.

Advice to Management

Ask your employee's opinion of the work environment more; ways to improve work.

    I worked at Lowe's part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

OK job for someone needing a part time job with low pay and no desire for a future

    Cons

Management is a joke, No training so your ability to grow or offer great service to customers is handcuffed.
It's amazing how companies like these expect great results without any providing any level of professionalism, personal respect, or training to their employees. At least China is winning with all of the cheap low-quality junk being sold there.

    Advice to Management

Attitude and professionalism starts at the top (CEO and stockholders). Cultivate a caring attitude from the top down, even though you don't really mean it. Give each employeed the respect they deserve. Provide product training for full and part time employees.
