I have been working at Lowe's full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Very positive situation. Anyone with people skills will excel in this business, and you will be noticed quickly.

    Cons

Corporate structure is slow-moving. As are any large companies. As long as you can be on time, your life is very easy.

    Advice to Management

    Communicate with each other.

    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Lowe's full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It was a paycheck, benefits, 401k, vacation time, holiday pay

    Cons

To move up at my location, you need to be friends with the management. Hardwork will only get you so far. Favoritism plays a big role whether you move up or not. even if you move up, getting the support from your manager depends on how good you are in with the management

    Advice to Management

Playing favorites sends the wrong message to good associates. If don't want your managers to leave, step down, etc, then support them and the associates under them equally. Everyone should have a chance to shine, not just the one or two you happen to like at that moment.
