    I worked at Lowe's full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Money is good and benefits are fantastic

    Cons

-As a salaried manager, you will be expected to work 55 hours + a week. The minimum is 48, but that is treated as the MINIMUM (aka only disengaged managers work only 48 hours)
-Unless you are the store manager, you will be working a lot of nights
-Training programs have been eliminated and there is no upward mobility.

    Advice to Management

Your managers need training on how to develop employee instead of actively working to ensure that nobody underneath them can ever threaten their job security. Absolutely nobody with real potential is going to stick around while mediocrity is rewarded and the "yes men" are running the show. Getting rid of the ASM training programs was devastating to those of us out in the field because the amazing progress that the company had made getting away from the "good ole boy" system of choosing who gets promoted quickly regressed and is now worse than ever.

I have been working at Lowe's part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

yes we are scheduled a little

    Cons

we are now only between 10 and 15 hours allowed by Management. What's up with that how can anybody live on that?

    Advice to Management

You say Obamacare made you do that, you also say the most we part times can work is 25 hours. This is Bull and you know it! give it to us in Black and White to read not Word of Mouth
