May be initially hard to move up without experience, Concrete floors are hard on your feet, Very easy to get hurt sometimes.

    Customers are great! Love helping them and finding out what projects they are working on

    Cons

    Everything else, poor work/life balance. expectations different for different people, too much ass kissing, poor salary, lots of internal relationships and good old boys club

    Quit firing great people

    Pros

    Paint a great picture, talk the talk, refuse to do the walk

    Cons

    Corporate doesn't know what is going on at store level. employee opinion survey is a joke.Every question is misleading and pointed in the wrong direction. They have turnover and still don't get it. Poor Management placement. head hunting is constantly taking place. to be strong Managers ,they have favorites to get them by.tManagers make bad choices,decisions and no follow through and then look to blame someone else.

    Advice to Management

    Corporate should get out to the stores and talk to the people . listen and start caring about your people and their quality family time again. Stores will get a better degree of contentment and ownership. stop closed door sessions. Get rid of the head hunters. if someone's not doing their job , hold them accountable , plain and simple.All associates see are botched up attempts to target someone. They they take sides, and the rumor mill starts. From being right and how it is handled makes it wrong, causing poor morale and low productivity.
