I worked at Lowe's full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Great structure to learn from. Clear and fair policies and procedures to follow. A lot of resources to help out throughout the day.

Cons

Hours are long. Must work at least 50 hours a week, but definitely more. limited work'life balance. Not all P&P followed by management.

Advice to Management

Be fair and professional. Lead by example. Listen to your employee's suggestions and opinions.

I have been working at Lowe's part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

all the employees are hard working and the management is receptive to everyone's ideas. Good starting wage and usually goodies in the break room provided by management.

    Cons

I would like to see a better training program in place for new hires. Just watching a series of videos doesn't really train someone well to be on the sales floor.

    Advice to Management

Need more hands on training in computer and phones. I've worked there 8 months and still don't know how to do a lot of the functions on the phone or
    Genesis.
