I worked at Lowe's full-time (More than a year)

Pros

management worked with employees and were always very flexible.

Cons

some of the other HC did not do their job. spent a lot of time standing around talking.

    Decent Pay; Will work around school hours;

    No ability for professional growth unless you are willing to relocate.

    Advice to Management

    Recognize employees more and understand that a customer does not like answering the six or seven things you require cashiers to ask.

    Pros

    Being a specialist you have more one on one with customer to make them happy

    Cons

    Specialists need to sell that's what they were hired for. Can't sell when stocking product or when store is closed, need more part-timers in dept to do this. Set hours for specialists during selling times 9-6 daily. Need to rotate weekends off like Pro sales do.

    Advice to Management

    Specialist would sell more if commissioned. You have to see that by now. PSE & PSI are commissioned but specialists are pressured to get them there customers
    Also get rid of the nasty employees that are rude to our customers & employees how many complaints does it take. I have seen one employee get at least 5 calls to corporate about this & complaints from employees as well & she is still there!
