I have been working at Lucid Software full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Lucid is all that it's advertised to be and more. The leadership here is solid and thrives off of the foundational cultural values set in place. The employees here are just as rooted and love being apart of Lucid.

    Cons

The only con I see, Is that we're so big right now that we're in two locations. As soon as these other companies move out I think we'll be able to reunite everyone back in the company.

I worked at Lucid Software full-time for more than a year

      Pros

Lucid hires the best of the best. They've been able to attract talent that is innovative, hard-working, and generally fun to work with. Cons

As with many companies that are growing quickly, their hiring criteria isn't as stringent as it used to be. They're experiencing large turn-over of employees who have been there for 2+ years and the management they've brought in has brought a more staunch and conservative culture to the once thriving and innovative teams. Lucid is not a start-up anymore. With 500+ employees and counting, you're not going to experience...

      Advice to Management

Check in on your employees when you put a new manager in place. They'll tell you what is working and what isn't. New managers are your key to maintaining the positive environment that Lucid once had and they're thrown into their role without any follow-up and feedback from the teams they're managing.
