I have been working at Lutron full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great company to start with, New hires are given a lot of technical work and a lot of technical help is available on projects. Every new hire is also urged to do some managerial work. all this applies to new hires who work in engineering.

    Cons

Some experienced engineers can be nosy and annoying,
There is total chaos a lot of times.
There is a lack of industrial education seminars that would impart knowledge on the latest and greatest out there.
A lot of the classes that are taught to new hires by senior engineers are not well taught and boring. There arent many opportunities to ask questions

    Advice to Management

Please bring in some more faculty from the local area to teach classes which shouldnt last more than 2 hours. A class that lasts a whole day doesnt teach you anything very effectively
