Pros

Do very little work for what is paid, but this can also get boring some days.
Depending on you boss, time off it easy to get with one or two days notice.
Fairly laid back place to work, as you show up to work everyday, you will have a job.
Always looking for new ways of doing everything, not matter how stange it might sound at first.
Pride in work it really high by everyone, if there is a issue you can see it in everyone's face, till it is fixed or corrected.
Everyday is different, work place is always changing

Cons

Communication is something that Lutron does not have, but we will say we do but do nothing ever about it.
Raise are $25 a week every year. If you bend over backward often, all you get is a "thanks", get the same raise as someone who shows up everyday.
Everyday you hear two different side of what should be done of how should it be done, and it can change at anytime. then they ask why did you not know this.
People get moved around alot, if you are at one job for more then 2 years, you are lucky, most move around every year or so.

Advice to Management

Instead of saying we have a communication issue do something about it.

    Pros

Most are quality people. Communication on peer level is great. Technical support was provided when asked. Some basics in sales, but no training, rather an opportunity to do all by yourself to learn. Overall is a good company to start your career, but don't stay for too long. Otherwise you will become as rigid as the whole structure. Do your best, learn important things and move on. 2-3 yrs would do.

    Cons

If you want to learn how to make good money in sales your stop by here should be very short. No commission for sales (pure salary), sales targets (in my case) were far above what was possible in the market. Strategy was really Achilles heel. The markets in Europe have been neglected for years. Company is losing the ground there to local competition. Poor or no customer support. When it comes to renovation, the customer has forgotten the company. Neglect is a killer of repeat business. Very sad to have seen this lots of times. The company looks like and acts like the empire in its final stage of decay... unless miracle happens. And yes, a bunch of good and strong people in the field of sales still somehow compensate the strategic shortsightedness of top management.

    Advice to Management

    - if you promise mentorship/coaching in sales- do it and not talk it as a mere affirmation
    - do something about sales training (not technical, has been too much of this), real sales in the 21st century. Hire some good trainers, like Grant Cardone. Open your eyes, nobody sells today like you do. It is not about your company, features and all this heavy for customer's ears techie stuff. You sell to people to meet their goals and desires
    - if you keep treating European market as a stepson/daughter of your company, very soon you will lose it to the competition. European competition is already on the move in the North America. Man, do something about it if you want to survive.

    - the company 5 values show its weakness now. They are wrong! People come first, Customer comes second, and Company comes third, not vica versa... But of course it is up to you what is right. 50yrs ago it may have been right...but today...
