I have been working at Lyft (More than 3 years)
Pros
Great flexable hours, instant pay, getting to meet and know all kinds of new and wonderful people!!!
Cons
Rude Passengers, Rating System and lack of tips.. It can be much better but at least it's better than Uber!
Advice to Management
give Drivers more incentive to drive (increase normal power zone levels from 10% to 30-50% It makes it harder to do much then and the game wil be semi fair
-Basically you are giving free rides! In the long run, even costing you out of pocket money on car maintenance.
-Wear & Tear. You're expected to put hundreds of miles on your car for absolutely nothing in return.
-Extremely low fair rides and compensation.
-No Tips. No one tips, as they are expecting bargain rides using this platform.
-Very Short rides The platform matches you with pickups tens of miles away just to drop them off again at a close location, making virtually zero profit.
-Can ask you to drive tens of mile for a $3 Trip.
-Would only allow you very limited airport pickups. I made 2 a day, averaging $30 for a 45miles/ 40 min drive, while also waiting for my pickup at the airport in a queue for 90 min
Advice to Management
-Greedy. -Deceptive -False Advertising.
No advice for a sinister organization that stands on these 3 pillars.
