New Bonus Structure Sends Clear Message: DON'T DRIVE FULL TIME!
Aug 27, 2018 - Driver in Phoenix, AZRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
If you are desperate, you can make $50+ a day and get paid the same day.
Cons
The more money you make, the higher they set your bonus goals, so you cannot get the bonus again. Latest incarnation: they took away peak hours and "customized" the number of rides you need to obtain goals. I spoke to over 20 drivers on day one of the new system. My goals and every other driver's goals are set at a level that it is hardly possible to reach on our best week. None of us have the same goals either. They have gone beyond weaponizing their business plan to decimating their full time drivers lives in 3 days. The 1st goal is higher than the 2nd goal used to be, and offers less money. The second & third goals are unattainable if you ever sleep. A whole other thing is the lip service and downright conflicting information from their driver's help desk. They'll kick out $5 to make you go away sometimes, but it never makes up for the ride lost due to their system issues. Help desk will tell you to work less when the app isn't working or your bonus goals are too high. They pretend to treat drivers well.

Pros
The people are great and the work is very interesting. The tech is miles better than most huge companies and the internal tools you do have to use are great. Pay is also nice; when the stock is online with offer. If it’s not, then you are making almost nothing.
Cons
Pay; if the stock drops a lot. It has dropped a ton so you most likely aren’t gonna be making even close to what you are offered. I made roughly 60% of my TC which put me in line with no name companies. Layoffs; the company is spiraling and they keep having layoffs. They also only seem to layoff competent engineers so expect things to get harder generally. RTO; speaks for itself
