I have been working at MB Financial full-time (More than a year)

Pros

good start for entry level banking, benefits are not the perfect but o.k You can get promotions if you are selling alot.

Cons

I would not stay here for a long time like some other people who are averages 10 years of being personal banker. The pay is very low, i can say they probably pay 30% lower than industry

Advice to Management

if you want to keep good employees, you should reconsider compensations, in compared to industry good people are working because of this. It would be alot more cheaper to increase compensation then rehiring new people with having high turnover.

    Cons

it's not a con but you must work hard, because everyone else is. They are driven and aren't going to slow down for you, so learn quick

    Advice to Management

keep doing what you are doing. encourage interdepartment interaction would be a positive as well. people looking for career changes may have a greater strength or interest in another field of banking and not have great access to meet contacts in those departments
