I worked at MGM Resorts International part-time (Less than a year)

Pros

Great benefits, good pay, nice vacation policies. Friendly, approachable managers.

Cons

Management under qualified (education wise), it's all about who you know in order to get promoted.

I have been working at MGM Resorts International as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Really focus on where you will be most successful. They take the time to make sure you are happy with where you're at and how they can help you improve. The office I am in invests a lot of time and resources into it's staff to keep them current.

While there is a lot of governance over the different projects, I've only seen constructive feedback. Everyone is adults and treated as such. I have never worked in an office before where everyone worked together so well. Everyone is on there game all the time, and I have been blown away by the caliber of people they have in their office.

    Cons

Very complex systems and many different offices to manage them. MGM has there hands in so many different things that if your project crosses into multiple areas it can be very time consuming to get all of the resources and approvals you need from all of the many different departments. Can be very bureaucratic.
