    Positive Outlook

I have been working at MLC full-time

    Pros

Exciting new environment, lots of passionate people with drive to deliver great service. There is huge investment in people with a strong focus on change, with support from it's new owner Nippon Life. New offices, a truly collaborative environment where people actually care about each other and what they do. There is huge opportunity here, new roles and developing teams. products. It has the potential to be the employer of choice in the Financial Services Industry.

    Cons

The brand may be old but this is a new company, divested from the NAB that still own the MLC brand, with new owners and many processes and old systems yet to be replaced or renewed. There is an exhausting pace of change leading to burn out and high levels of stress. If you are not up for that challenge it will be a difficult ride. The company is on a steep climb to implement a new echo system, brand new systems and processes at an eye watering rate while still developing it's business model.

    Advice to Management

Don't forget the effects of change on people, while so much work is needing to be done and the organisation is identifying itself as a new company in its own right, this may come at the expense of great talent.
