Very interesting job! All my coworkers were great. This job certainly kept me on my toes, as no two days were ever the same. It definitely was not your typical, boring desk job.
Cons
Could get very busy at certain times. Most days were exciting with plenty of things for you to do to keep you busy, but occasionally, you would have days that were slow and monotonous.
The food sensory business is well organized and managed -the company had the sense to finally locate to the city,
Cons
The custom research business is behind competitors with no real vision with how to be competitive in the US market. High employee turnover and a board of directors in the UK that are not interested in investing in the business. Believe these negative reviews and save your career.
Other than Board of Directors, no room for success or development. Only home grown have future. Don't join as a senior level person. Revolving door on staff. In past 1.5 years, 50% have been laid off, fired or resigned.
Advice to Management
Be more open minded to what new staff bring to table
Thank you for your feedback – great to know that our facilities and snacks are appreciated! I am sorry that you feel that there is no room for progression as we pride ourselves on the opportunities for development within the business at all levels so it’s concerning that one of employees is feeling this way. Please contact me (Hannah Read) on my internal email or phone and we can work with you to try and resolve any issues.
