I worked at Macmillan Education full-time

    Pros

Wonderful coworkers; good insurance policy; sometimes interesting projects

    Cons

High levels of stress for very little pay; little or no opportunities for advancement; little appreciation and support for employees; managers often don't hire new employees for many months, instead piling work on current employees; some managers verbally harass employees; a general feeling of despair and burnout; the top managers push back against initiatives to increase diversity and employee well-being and self-care

    Advice to Management

Start compensating employees for their time and efforts; with the low pay, high stress, and lack of appreciation, there's no reason for people to stay here.
