I worked at Macon County Greyhound Park full-time

    Pros

Probably the most unique environment I have ever worked in, stories from this place will stick with you for the rest of your life. Unreal opportunities to make lots of money in tips. This is as good as you're ever going to get if you do not want to leave Macon County - unfortunately, that's not saying much.

    Cons

If you're considering working here, look up online about how Victoryland violated the Federal WARN Act - they suddenly laid off a large amount of employees under the guise of "renovations" that never happened. They owe former employees millions of dollars and have had nothing but excuses for not paying them since they lost the lawsuit. Contact the following lawyers for more info: Charles A. Hardin and David A. Hughes of Hardin & Hughes LLP, James Bruce Perrine and David L Selby II of Bailey & Glasser LLP, Philip Dale Segrest Sr. and John Michael Segrest of The Segrest Law Firm and Robert Simms Thompson of Robert Sims Thompson PC.

Victoryland has a microscopic labor pool to draw from, so lots of people have jobs for life as long as they know someone.

Easily the most disorganized place I have ever worked at. Managers will lie to your face and withhold vital information every single day.

Management uses the "casting couch" for promotions. Milton's not the "good guy" he makes himself out to be.

    Advice to Management

Be honest and pay your employees what you owe them. No more lies!
