    Pros

Discount is nice. But only on specials or clearance, otherwise you're paying more in the first place.

    Cons

Counting returns against the associate personally. Especially with a overly flexible return policy.(Even after using merchandise for months.)
Belittling, you are talked to like a child "what behavior can we expect to see differently from you to improve your score."
Priorities are: Goals & credit, Credit & goals
You're ideas, comments, and concerns are ignored-deemed as excuses and whatever else.
Unrealistic goals when there is #1 no sale going on, and #2 you have a low price point department. #3 you work with sharks.
Continual hiring when long term associates struggle for hours.
Different treatment/rewards/recognition for different associates...in front of other associates.

    Advice to Management

Listen and respect your long term employees, many new hires take extended breaks, hide in fitting rooms texting, etc, and no shows. Make goals realistic in ALL departments. Foolish to go on last years numbers when the economy is getting worse. Some of the associates with the best 'numbers' are not the best in customer service and vice versa.
