Approves of CEO

I have been working at Macy's part-time (Less than a year)

Pros

Discount, Learn a lot new stuff, getting to know people, flexible hours

Cons

Having to sell macys credit cards! Some people are rude and have been there for 10+ years and don't like to help new people, dealing with and learning about all their sales and restrictions on macys cards and regular coupons is HARD!

Advice to Management

Better training!!! Everything is online, How is anybody to really be prepared without proper training.

I have been working at Macy's part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Some of the greatest people you'll ever work with.

    Cons

Macy's managers don't care how you're treated and how you should be treated. Only opening accounts and pushing pre sales are important.

    Advice to Management

Stop relying on the points system and in-site scheduling availability so much and allow workers to actually be more flexible.
