I have been working at Manpower as a contractor (More than 5 years)

Pros

The pros of this position is that it's a long term contract and it pays weekly.

Cons

The con's of this job are the Fear Based management styles, no room for advancement, no positive/constructive feed back, no raises, no real benefits, no vacation, no sick time.

Advice to Management

Listen to your employee's. Yes they are temps but they are still working for YOU and your clients. Create some type of tangible reward system. Offer better paying positions to the people you have on the pay roll already even if they are already assigned to an account. If they have the skills that are needed and have stood by you shouldn't you stand by them? Negotiate with your clients a living wadge for the city you are in and make room for regular increases or some type of bonus system. If you want to keep your highly skilled employee's you need to think about how you can keep them happy and wanting to continue to work for you and do well.

I have been working at Manpower full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Manpower truly is the leader in the world of staffing. Their staffing model is getting towards a more dilineated role-oriented environment, rather than dual desk coverage where you are the recruiter, the sales rep, the admin, the everything. Role dilineation helps people really become the expert in their position, rather than jack of all trades in staffing.

    Cons

Poor compensation. According to market trends on what Recruiters should be making, Manpower has some catching up to do.

    Advice to Management

    Raises!
