I have been working at Manpower full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Manpower is an ethical and innovative global company. Keeping up on employment trends, innovation in recruiting, and on-going training are just a few of the pros with Manpower. Overall, Manpower is a good company to work for when looking at large corporate business. Manpower's annual people soft survey is a great tool for sharing opinions and Manpower does work to address issues that are brought to their attention.

    Cons

Recent changes have resulted in a decline in employees work/life balance. It is difficult to advance your position in various markets and relocation is required in some markets if you want to advance. Offices are ran very lean which results in employee burnout.

    Advice to Management

The interview process for internal employees to apply for other positions is frustrating and leaves you feeling like you are not valued as an employee. Bringing on additional staff memebers during peak seasons and new client ramp up would allow Manpower to be more effective and provide a higher level of service.

I have been working at Manpower full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Overall, the company supports and respects employees' work / life balance and there is a comprehensive benefits package.

    Cons

As you might imagine with such a large company, there is an awful lot of bureaucracy, and a lack of real creativity and innovation as a result. And the politics can be frustrating at times.

    Advice to Management

Communicate more with people in the field in a more meaningful way.
