Neutral Outlook

I have been working at Manulife full-time (More than a year)

Pros

People are fine, have some nice company benefits, workload are fine (depending on the teams)

Cons

Poor working environment, company norms / culture is bad (inactive in style, less communication), doesn't have any free food or drinks provided in the pantry (all self provide), work is boring and less challenging (Only choose to join if you enjoy or willing to provide the supporting work to the corporate), company are very strict about money usage (lead to "stingy" scenarios), work station or equipment are bad / outdated, work and performance oriented, a lot of website access limitation

I have been working at Manulife as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Dynamic work, gave me a large amount of responsibility, engaged in various projects, employee morale was very high, culture was very supportive and respectful, the operations run to the highest standards.

    Cons

The company isn't set up to train recent foreign graduates in the way western companies would. The programs for young Western people are not well-established.
