I have been working at Mapleton Public Schools

      Pros

The student population is diverse and offers a rich community feeling.

      Cons

Some of the population is transient, class lists change quite often

      Advice to Management

Start recognizing the early childhood programs as feeders who are doing work relevant to the test scores 3rd grade and up are pulling in.

I have been working at Mapleton Public Schools full-time

      Pros

Okay pay for teaching compared to other districts.

      Cons

Combat pay. Kids are disrespectful district wide. Good old boy club for admin and district level. Administration is afraid to suspend because they don’t want To look bad in the eyes of CDE. Kids have no consequences for poor behavior .

      Advice to Management

Hire stronger directors and get the fake admins out of your buildings.
