I have been working at Marine Corps Community Services full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

some of the people really mean well and are great people the non-managerial people are the best.

    Cons

they refuse to follow regulations, bad leadership in upper management, they actually believe the base Commanding Officer work's for them.
they believe regulations are a hindrance and go around or ignore them. they pay very poorly because they feel they can, on base they have a Nick Name that aptly fit's them Marine Corps Crime Syndicate.

    Advice to Management

fire upper management, start out fresh, take DOD regulations seriously. take away credit card's and stop the waste Semper fit buys $50,000 buy's stationary bike's every six month's because the money is there. well, here is a Novell idea.
give it back to the Marine's and Sailor's so they can have gear and training.
