    I have been working at MarketSource part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Easy work when it's available.

    Cons

    Started out working 28 hours a week on the average, now down to 8 hours a week.
    No raise in hourly rate for over seven years now. We actually all took a pay cut of $0.50/ hour back in 2010. We were told at that time that we would get it back in 2012 with an actual increase. NEVER happened!
    Management got raises, line worker got the shaft. But hey, this is a short-time part-time job. Average in-store sales representative last no more than two years.

    Advice to Management

    Start owning up to your promises, don't lie. In crease pay to at least what it was in 2009-10. And heaven forbid, pay even more to veteran staff as promised several years ago!

    Stop changing the rules every year without compensation to long time workers. Reporting system has had major changes in the past five years. Stop changing the system with $$$. Stop adding/changing job requirements without proper compensation!

    I have been working at MarketSource full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    None. Do not work for this company....if you see them in a job ad... steer clear and find something else.

    Cons

    -Poor Wages
    -Poor Communication Between Leadership, Account Managers and HR
    -HR only strings along employees, no substance behind their communications
    -Corporate Training is designed at a High School Level, Overkill and Not Effective
    -Poor Choice and Candidate Selection for Co-Workers (Hires too many scrub candidates. One Employee was hired and did not even pass a drug test. They had to excuse him after 2 weeks..very, very unprofessional.)
    -Better off being a bagger at Aldi, same pay, less grief
    -HR and Leadership Do Not Solve Issues, Rather Look to "Quiet/ Brushoff" the Employee and Situation. Only Interested in pointing and blaming anyone and everything to divert attention from the "Market Source Brand."

    Advice to Management

    Find a New Company To Work For Cause This One is a Total Disaster From Top - Down. Stop hiring employees based on "Check the box demographic criteria, ethnic background and male/female.) Hire the best candidates you can find and pay them a living wage.
