No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Marriott International full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

Very friendly and inviting co-workers. My managers are very helpful and always there to help. Everyone is fun to be around and they function more like a family while still maintaining the business aspects.

Cons

I just graduated with a Finance degree and took a front desk position to get my foot in the door so the pay is not good at all. I make $8.25 and hour and only get 20-30 hours for right now (I was hired in December, still training). I have not picked a benifits package yet so I cant comment on that.

Advice to Management

Keep up the good work!

I worked at Marriott International full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Respect for employees. Great benefits. Flexibility of hours. Good pay. Willing to take time to resolve employee conflicts. When the weather was too dangerous to drive in they put me in a room overnight free.

    Cons

Turnover sometimes hard to deal with. In one year only 2 of us remained. Kitchen equipment only marginally effective. Not enough work table to work effectively.

    Advice to Management

Make sure the kitchen is sized properly for the level of work required.
