I worked at Marriott International full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    good benefiits, 100% paid medical.

    Cons

Too many chiefs, not enough Indians. A Lot of gossip and Unprofessionalism from within.

    Advice to Management

share a professional attitude and work ethic. Gossiping about EE's in front of others or making derogatory remarks lowers the moral within EE's

    Pros

Good health insurance and life insurance benefits. Great discounts at hotel and many places like daycare, cell phone carriers. Grow from within

    Cons

Salary is not comparable to workload. Select Service managers work minimum 10 hour shifts per day, when salary is based on 40 hours. Too much work for so few managers per property.

    Advice to Management

Stop cutting labor. Don't make your managers pick up the slack. They are there to manage. They can't do that if they're running around the place filling holes the lack of personnel makes.
