    I have been working at Masergy full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Masergy has been phenomenal from the moment I sat down for my first interview. I had numerous offers on the table but decided to interview anyway, and that turned out to be a very good decision. Masergy was very flexible with me while my wife and I had our first child, and they have been immensely supportive of us. I love the culture and people I work with. My superiors are very knowledgeable and pragmatic, and... management practices transparency. The benefits are very good and pay is competitive. I love it here. Masergy is a world class company with world class staff.

    I have been working at Masergy full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    I've been here at Masergy 5 years and my assessment has not changed. If you expect to be coddled and told exactly how to do your job, Masergy is not the place for you. But if you like to dive right into the deep-end and get to work applying your talents and energy, Masergy is the perfect place. The "bones" of this company are strong and the products and services are top-notch. We are not peddling trivial , commodity... solutions. We sell thoughtful, consultative solutions on a high-tech scale. It's a challenging place to work...and I love it. Recent negative posts are unfortunate, but I suspect some of these folks were not up to the task and the standards that the company's leadership requires to take Masergy to the next phase of growth and success. I personally am pleased and excited with the direction our new executive leadership is taking. Having been in the industry 30 years, and having been released from employment myself for reasons of change, it's unsettling when the company has to make hard decisions toward the achievement of business goals; but it's part of the process. One should not get the wrong idea from negative posts. Masergy is not executing large-scale lay offs, because the fact is the company is financially very strong. It's about change and improvement toward expansive growth. Can't wait for the next 5 years!

    Telecom and technology are always a little crazy and a guarantee of hard work and personal sacrifice for the benefit of our customers. The work-life balance can be difficult at times, but the rewards are often worth the effort. Let's be more agile bringing new ideas, services, and products to market. Make sure you treat operations and support as a product and not just a cost center. An improved operations and... support apparatus is a product that can be marketed and sold like hot cakes in this industry. It's not enough to be "not as bad as the rest of them".
