    Pros

MGH provides a very good research environment and good benefit on half of Harvard medical school, including health care, and other benefits.

    Cons

For research fellow, it is under paid considering the work load, pressure and future, since it is a transition period and a training process, it is acceptable.

    Advice to Management

It totally depends on the PI you work for, the managing styles differ dramatically. So to find some PI not only smart but also respect you as a researcher who has a career and family as he/she is. Good luck

  2. "Working at MGH has opened my eyes to other career paths... A great place that allows you to continue growing"

    Approves of CEO

    Pros

I love that it's and environment that prmotes continuos leARNING.

    Cons

They don't offer short-term disability. So, for people with growing families or temporary ilness/injuries, it may mean not having an income while recouperating or tending to your newborn. I feel It's tragic they are not forward thinking in that respect.

    Advice to Management

I would recommend having a person of color represented at the executive level.
