I worked at Massage Envy full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

The front desk staff handles all appointment bookings. Your lotion and linens are supplied for you. The staff is great at asking your clients to rebook with you before they leave. Unlike most spa jobs, they do offer health insurance. The clinic I worked for would usually pay you for a last minute cancellation.

Cons

The clinic I worked for did not offer any type of paid time off, at the time I was working there.

    Clients treated like cattle
Therapists rushed to meet schedule at the expense of hygiene .

Consider developing a business model that pays massage therapists $1/minute or better and insist on advanced training for therapists and franchise owners (who should themselves hold massage licenses in their respective states)
