    Approves of CEO

    Pros

The CEO is very smart and has a great vision of where and how he wants to take the company to

    Cons

HR function is extremely poor within MasterCard worldwide. Not only do the HR managers lie, they are not effective and come up with policies that don't make sense and don't support the CEO's vision.
Accountability is really lacking and people who do a bad job or don't do their job get away with it.

    Advice to Management

CEO needs to ensure that the right people are in senior leadership role to create an environment that is conducive for innovation and performance. He also needs to revamp the entire HR unit in order to attract and retain talents.

    Approves of CEO

    Pros

Strong CEO who is challenging the organization to be more innovative and creative. Great benefits and generous pay, flexible work schedule. A commitment to a learning culture with Senior Managers conducting many of the sessions with employees.

    Cons

Very political and it is clear within the organization who are the favorites. Too many employees have more than one manager which leads to a great deal of confusion.

    Advice to Management

Stop making excuses for the bad behavior of some managers and get rid of them quickly. Management creditability has been damaged by the lack of action.
