Negative Outlook
Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at McCann Erickson full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

lots of days off, PTO's, summer days, 1/2 days before holiday's and Xmas week off....

Cons

raises have been frozen since 2008 with the exception of SVP's & EVP's..

Advice to Management

instead of arranging these mandatory silly forgettable workshops that are overseen by these corporate SVP and EVP's who end up abandoing ship after a year or two --and all becomes irrelevant..start giving your employees a raise and stop losing good talent and keep your promises.
(raises are still FROZEN for the under dogs)

    Pros

Some high profile clients, some decent creative work.

    Cons

A very corporate atmosphere. Low morale.

    Advice to Management

Leadership has changed since I was there.

  2. "unraveling environment, bleeding business; morale low across the board"

    Pros

smart people, but not progressive; so you can be smart

    Cons

not very collaborative environment; people don't really care about people; you're only as good as the last great idea you personally created and there is not enough emphasis on growing the contribution of others; since business is not good everyone is just out for themselves.

so many of the current clients are traditional/conservative and only want TV, so it is hard to do more progressive or digital work

    Advice to Management

conduct serious reviews of senior leadership
    empower a stronger HR/Talent function
