Low wages, all positions above Shift Manager require 6 work days per week, work with a variety of teenagers who feel "it's McDonald's, not a real job."

    Approves of CEO

    Pros

Working there I had pretty nice management, flexible scheduling, a lot of opportunities for hours, and some very helpful coworkers.

    Cons

Like anyone would assume working at McDonald's...there are customers who will treat you very rudely, you feel disgusting all of the time, and there isn't much variation on the job.

  2. Helpful (1)

"Rewarding for personal growth, but as an overall experience it has been unpleasant."

    Doesn't Recommend
    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

You have the ability to grow and learn as much as you want if you work hard to be promoted or sent to their training classes. If you want to succeed you have to push for it, not your superiors.

    Cons

Poor working environment, rude and disrespectful customers, lack of communication from senior management, and a lot of micromanagement so you are not able to actually make decisions yourself.

    Advice to Management

Instead of assuming what you believe is going on during shifts, it is important to investigate, and stand behind your management staff instead of standing behind the customer. Because without your employees you'll have no company.
