I worked at McDonald's part-time (Less than a year)

Pros

They offer very flexible schedules so it's a good job to have if you're in school or have other commitments. It can be fun since you get to work with a wide variety of people. The required job skills are very easy to learn.

Cons

The job could get tiresome after working there for a long time. It's not the kind of job that you would want to have long term. There seemed to be slow progression in wage increases.

I have been working at McDonald's part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

A job is better then no job at all. 50% off restaurant discount. Quality control.

    Cons

Condescending praise. Acceptable harassment that creates a workplace that is hostile, offensive or intimidating. Management over leadership philosophy.

    Advice to Management

Don't ignore leadership in the role of management development. McDonald's Incorporate would not like your subterfuge franchise interpretations with their mission statement.
