    I worked at McDonald's full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Stock investment, growth is vast, perhaps one of the best in the indusrty when it comes to managing emplyees. Franchisees are great!

    Cons

Sometimes hard to grow outside of the typical demographic in terms of new products. Also very dependent on real estate as a compant.

    Advice to Management

    More international growth!

    I worked at McDonald's part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

A good place for a high school student to learn the basics of food service. Very regimented and structured work routine. Room for advancement to management positions.

    Cons

Many employees do not have a high outlook on life; some are what are considered "lifers," as they will work there for most, if not all, their working life.

    Advice to Management

Don't try and become "buddy buddy" with your employees, and do not play favorites. And treat all of your employees with an equal amount of respect. It may be a so-so job, but it's still a work environment.
