I have been working at McKesson full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

Great Benefits. OK Pay. Solid financials. McKesson offers comfortable work environmental. There is some room for career advancement, although it can be tricky. If senior management moves forward with current plans, McKesson could be an Awesome place to work, but for now they are just short.

Cons

Must work off the clock in order to get ahead. Management changes direction frequently frusterating workers. Politics hobble the company in ways that really aren't necessary even for the hardened middle manager.

Advice to Management

Trust your workers more. Allow us to do our jobs without political maneuvering.

I worked at McKesson full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

They tell you exactly what they expect of you and train you well on how to accomplish it. The expectations are very "doable'. You are not overwhelmed, but the expectations are high. They have more integrity than most companies and value their employees. They set you up to sucdeed at your job

    Cons

The jobs can be contract based, and if they lose the contract, you lose your job. You do get quite a bit of forewarning though and a decent severance package. But opportunities to continue employment in a different position are scarce.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing. Great communication!
