No opinion of CEO

I have been working at McKesson as a contractor (Less than a year)

Pros

Good opportunities and go place to work... Takes a little work to move around in the company however.

Cons

Company is not so friendly to contractors... Workers tend to look down on contractors.. Upper management needs to deal with this business relationship.

Advice to Management

Work on employees and contractor relationships.. Don't treat Contractors as if they are not welcome. You hired them! Tell your employees that too!

    Negative Outlook

I worked at McKesson full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The office location is convenient and the facilities communicate wealth and power (when wealth and power is financed and temporarily borrowed). Revenue is driven by more cancer care drugs being sold regardless of medical necessity. Executives openly encourage flu outbreaks in order to sell more vaccines.

    Cons

Retalition exists and is encouraged on a daily basis. It is the standard for motivating employees to drive upper level management bonuses. Words like "Respect" are marketed but there is no criteria for enforcing values like this. Brown nosing and personal entertainment are also encouraged on a daily basis and leadership leads by example in this area.

    Advice to Management

If money is spent marketing shared values money should be spent enforcing them.
