I have been working at McKesson full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

Some of the best people you'll ever meet. Most people are friendly and willing to help you out
A feeling that you are making a difference
Benefits are good (including matching 401K, adoption assistance, tuition reimbursement and FSA's)
I always felt supported by my manager and team and was never micromanaged.
Good PTO once you get past the first year or two

Cons

Extremely extremely political, not much diversity at the top
Face Time is very important, therefore WFH is discouraged in most areas. That is starting to change, but it's been slow. (I am only speaking about the SF office)
Compensation isn't competitive
If you got results, no matter how you got them, you were praised. The higher up you go, the less the ICARE Shared Values seem to apply.

Advice to Management

The constant cost cutting is really hurting morale.

I have been working at McKesson full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

This is probably the best place I have worked that has so many women at all levels. Be it the senior management or individual contributor roles, there are many women across the board. Hence, there is a decent work-life balance, and flex hours as well. As long as the job gets done, no one cares how many hours you put in. Goals are well-defined and achievable, and compensations are tied to goals being reached.

    Cons

As long as people perform, they will continue to be in the company. And this applies to people who can be obnoxious to their teams as well. And some people are high drama.
