I worked at McKesson full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Strong, relatively stable company.
    Good resume builder.
Large company with lots of room to move around once you've proven yourself.
Part of a pretty exclusive oligopoly with a tight stranglehold on hospital management software,
Average employee actually stays with the company 10+ years,
    Very good benefits.

    Cons

    Management changes every year.
Largely trying to squeeze money out of existing products with few new products to speak of. Slowly diminishing head count each year.
"Rank and Yank" practices rampant, Yearly "realignment" always results in %5 headcount reduction/recycling.
Has never really been successful building a product from the ground up, all successful assets were acquisitions.
Company has many rules and regulations that prevent flexibility and empowerment.

    Advice to Management

Doesn't matter.. a new management team will be in charge next year,
