I worked at McKesson full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Very stable job in a rapidly growing industry.

    Cons

Little to no movement, old fashioned upper management.

    Advice to Management

Get your hiring practices in order. It shouldn't take as long as it takes to hire just one person. That delay causes all sorts of issues downstream such as current employees getting frustrated with lack of help, current employees unable to explore other skills/positions within the company because they don't have time, missing out on potential employees because they accept another offer first, etc. Also be more open to employee suggestions instead of just laying down the hammer. Along with the technology, the people have changed since even a decade ago, and employees require different approaches to being managed.

I worked at McKesson full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The company that offers special classes on a skill set the employee doesn't already have is a tremendous benefit for the worker's future. Cross training is beneficial to the company as well.

    Cons

Many departments have relocated to the cost center, TX.
