    Depends on manager/department I guess? But you can expect shouting matches with your boss on a fairy regular basis. Here is what I can 100% attest to from direct experience : Being told by your boss’ supervisor that your boss will continue to bully and demean you until he/she “feels like they can trust you to perform day to day work in a competent manner.” McKesson’s Richmond office converts task masters into people managers, and the results are what you’d expect: Tone deaf people with grossly unearned senses of self importance. HR is a joke too; truly a clean up crew for management. Word to wise: zero expectation for confidentiality with HR. Your conversation with HR will be relayed to your manager word for word, and you’ll get scheduled for a “check-in” where you’ll be called out for having the gumption to suggest your manager is out of bounds.
