I have been working at McKinsey & Company full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Able to flex my creative/entrepreneurial muscles when approaching new projects and challenges, while also having the support/resources of a large company. I worked for smaller companies/start-ups before and truly feel like i get the best of both worlds at McK. Cares deeply about gender parity and diversity and many programs are in place to support women and diverse colleagues. other pros: casual work attire (jeans, etc) in many US offices, medical benefits are fantastic, work with fun and smart people

    Cons

McK is always looking to improve and innovate, not only for clients but internally. There are rarely "slow days", even as a non-client facing colleague. The expectations are high for everyone, but this is also what makes McKinsey a leading organization.
