Pros

Stability; opportunities for advancement; positive work enviroment, great people, tuition reimbursement, 401K

Cons

Inflexible work hours for salaried employees; treated more like hourly; no flex time or working from home

Pay is ok, but not up to levels of other companies.

Advice to Management

Adjust work hours for salaried teammates or allow for flexible work schedule and/or telecommuting

    Pros

Profitable company due to low wages

    Cons

Talk about teammate respect but that is just for the hourly not the management. Managment is over worked and paid poorly. Business model changed but goals and objectives did not. Divisions carry the burden and Coprate the glory. Corporate are suppose to support the divisions but I ween that rarely happen

    Advice to Management

Treat all teammates the same and do not have double statndards. Also Regional Vice Presidents should be consistent in how teammates are treated. You can't have one that cares and another who micro manages. McLane use to be a great place to work but the last several years the business model changed and upper management got worse. Hours are terrible for divison management. Divisons are in terrible areas to aquire a productive work forces. I mean really Danville Illinios, Rocky Mount North Carolina, Merced CA,

    Pros

    fair pay scales and benefits.

    Cons

majority of management have no clue how to do the jobs they are supervising. safety is supposed to be priority 1 but the first time safety becomes inconveniant you are expected to do something unsafe for production sake. training is commonly forged or tests are done for you so most employees donot know the proper procedures for operating there heavy equipment and constantly do things that they are not supposed too.

    Advice to Management

may want to send some peeps undercover to observe the misdoings by certain facilites to cover up unreported accidents forged training and general poor management
